How does Poly Balm help with nail changes?
Poly Balm contains phytochemical rich waxes and oils from the phenolic polyphenols group. Preventing dryness, splitting and cracking of the nails, these oils and waxes work together to provide much needed moisture to skin. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties make Poly Balm an excellent choice for nail care during treatment. During the Poly Balm trial, it was hypothesized that when the oils, which are contained within Poly Balm, are applied locally to the nail bed, the oils then serve as a local antidote to the chemotherapy, thus preventing substantial damage to the proliferating stem cells.
